A Jayapriya school student won a zonal-level badminton tournament. Selected for state-level competition.
Visudan, a student at Neyveli-Vadakuthu Jayapriya Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School, placed second in the under-17 zone-level badminton championship on September 6 at Kallakurichi, Cuddalore district. Visudan set a record and shows his best last week in the Cuddalore district badminton competition.

A zonal level Badminton Tournament organized by National Schools Sports Group of India was held at Kallakurichi AKT School, Cuddalore District. A total of 47 school students participated in the Under-17 Badminton Tournament.
Among them, Selvan Visudan, a student from Vadakuthu Jayapriya Vidyalaya Matriculation High School finished second and bagged the victory trophy and brought pride to the school.
The founder and chairman of Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions, Mr. C.R. Jayasankar, Director of Jayapriya Vidyalaya Group of Institutions, Mr. N.S. Dinesh, School Secretary Mrs. Sindhu, Principal Mrs. Chidambari, physical education teachers and other teachers were also appreciated the student Visudan.
Notably, students at Jayapriya School receive specific training for their unique talents and extracurricular activities.
